She was fighting/struggling/battling, but against what? Against whom? The world dissolved into a blurry chaos of pain and fear before she finally awoke, gasping/coughing/shuddering, the lingering taste of terror heavy on her tongue.
A Whisper of Suffocation, A Cry From The Void
It starts as a subtle tightening on your chest. You try to find air, but each inhale of air is met with a resistance. The world around you fades into a darkened void, and your vision grows cloudy.
